The goal was to set Avalon Pharmacy apart from chain and retail drugstores by emphasizing their dedication to attentive, patient-centered care. As such, the messaging and design had to be approachable, uncomplicated, professional, and trustworthy — elements of utmost importance for those who want a pharmacy that has their best interests in mind.

We used the StoryBrand Framework to clarify Avalon Pharmacy’s multiple functions into a clear, straightforward message that kept the needs of the patient front and center. Using this approach, the patient is positioned as the hero of their story, and Avalon Pharmacy is the caring, expert guide who will help make their lives easier.

The clean, geometric design and Montserrat typeface paired with the imagery of happy, healthy individuals suggests a feeling of reliability, stability, and order. The color palette is dominated by the tranquil and trust-building Midnight Blue — it’s calming, while also stirring emotions of dependability and trust, which we want to associate with those who have a responsibility to our health. This is accompanied by warm Venetian Red which provides a touch of energy, impressing the feelings of vitality, activity, and “bouncing back.”

The final result is a website that emphasizes Avalon Pharmacy’s commitment to keeping its patients’ needs at the forefront, making their lives easier with compassionate care, best-in-class services, and technologically advanced systems.
